Are you thinking about investing in a better, straighter smile? There was never a better time to do it; advances in dental materials and technology offer orthodontic options like Invisalign that get the job done comfortably, efficiently, and with a minimum of disruption to your life.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a popular adult orthodontic option that has improved millions of smiles. Instead of bracket and wire braces, Invisalign uses crystal-clear plastic aligners to move your teeth into the desired position gradually. You receive several sets of aligners when you begin treatment, and wear each for about two weeks until your smile is beautifully straight.

Most Invisalign cases are completed in an average of 12 to 15 months as compared to bracket and wire braces that can take 24 to 30 months.

Why Choose Invisalign?

Most adults would prefer not to commit to metal braces and may forgo treatment as a result. On the other hand, Invisalign is the perfect choice for the adult lifestyle for many reasons:

  • Appearance – We all know what metal braces can do to a smile, but since Invisalign aligners are crystal clear, they’re virtually invisible when worn.
  • Comfort – Metal braces have brackets and wires that can poke and irritate sensitive tissues in the mouth. Invisalign fits comfortably over your teeth like a mouth guard and uses clear plastic aligners that feel smooth in your mouth.
  • Convenience – Traditional orthodontics require a commitment because you have to rethink the foods you eat and the way you brush and floss. Invisalign aligners are removable for meals and oral hygiene, so you can continue to enjoy all your favorite foods.
