Most adults who choose Invisalign do so because they want to straighten crooked teeth but don’t need or want to commit to metal braces to do the job. That’s why Invisalign is a perfect orthodontic solution for many adults with mild to moderate tooth misalignment.

Aside from a more balanced and harmonious smile, however, there are numerous benefits to Invisalign treatment in Woodinville, WA.

Improves Your Confidence

If you are unhappy with your crooked teeth, it probably affects your self-confidence and your ability to interact comfortably around others. But when you know your straight smile looks great, it helps you feel great, and your confidence soars.

Makes Oral Hygiene Easier

It’s difficult to thoroughly clean teeth that are crooked or crowded, which allows plaque and tartar to build up and cause tooth decay. But after Invisalign treatment, your oral hygiene routine is more effective because you are able to reach all surfaces of your teeth when you brush and floss.

Helps Head and Neck Pain

In many cases, head and neck pain are the result of a bad dental bite. When you straighten your teeth with Invisalign, your bite improves and helps ease the stress on your jaw joint and minimizes or eliminates the pain.

Improves the Health of Your Gums

Crowding or gaps between teeth may affect the way your gums fit around your teeth, allowing harmful bacteria to build up and cause gum disease. Straight teeth eliminate the crowding so you can effectively clear away the buildup when you brush and floss.

Prevents Abnormal Tooth Wear

A bad dental bite often leads to abnormal wearing your teeth. Restoring the wear can help, but if your bite isn’t corrected with orthodontics, you haven’t really solved the problem. Treatment with Invisalign, however, adjusts your bite and eliminates the source of wear.
